GEOS continuously monitors the global cellphone and satellite market and operates a continuous approval program for GPS-equipped mobile/cell-phones, satellite phones and other GPS-equipped devices. Only GEOS-approved GPS cell-phones, GPS satellite phones or GEOS GPS locator devices will have the necessary software drivers to interface with the GEOS System communications infrastructure and our International Emergency Response Coordination Center.
