WHAT IS GEOS MEDIVAC?

A GEOS SAR membership will get you out of harm's way and to a place of safety. But what if you are still hundreds or even thousands of miles away from home, perhaps on the other side of the World? Most medical insurances will arrange treatment for you at the nearest "appropriate" hospital. Would you not wish to be as close as possible to your family and friends? A medical evacuation back to your home hospital (or any hospital of your choice!) could cost anything from $20,000 to $100,000 so what do you do? If you are a member of GEOS MEDIVAC, we will repatriate you to a hospital near your home from anywhere in the World (with international membership) or from anywhere in the USA or Canada (if you have joined the North American program), avoiding a possibly long stay in a hospital many miles from your family and friends.

This is a prepaid air medical transportation membership program. Please note that this is not an insurance plan, travel insurance policy or a healthcare plan and, therefore, GEOS will not reimburse members for expenses they incur on their own.

One of the most attractive  features of this special GEOS program is that it provides  full coverage for the cost of repatriating you to a hospital near your home from anywhere in the USA or Canada (for members choosing the North American option) and an upgrade covering international travel throughout the world is also available at very little additional cost. This provides any SAR Member with global medical evacuation benefits regardless of where you live and you are entitled to use this valuable service from the moment you are just 99 miles or more away from home!
