12 May 2015 at 0255 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from a SPOT device in Alaska National Park, Alaska.  IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported two individuals who activated their device during an avalanche while rocking climbing and skiing.  The males were transported by helicopter to safety.  No injuries reported with this incident.
