29 December 2015 at 2349 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from a SPOT device in Jackson County, Colorado.  IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and assisted five individuals who became immobile due to getting their snowmobiles stuck in the snow. A SAR ground team assisted the individuals in getting their snowmobiles unstuck. No injuries were reported with this incident.
