25 January 2016 at 2109 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from a SPOT device in Summit County, Colorado.  IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported a male who sustained minor injuries caused by a snowmobile accident. The individual was transported by a SAR team back to his vehicle where he was able to seek out his own medical attention.
