23 March 2016 at 1613 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from a SPOT device in Calhoun County, Mississippi.  IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported a 63 year old individual suffering from a broken collar bone and possible internal injuries caused by a motorcycle accident. The individual was transported by ambulance to the nearest hospital where they received treatment for their condition.
