28 April 2016 at 2035 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from a SPOT device in Lincoln County, Wyoming.  IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported two males who became stranded due to getting their vehicles stuck in the mud. The individuals were transported by patrol vehicle to a secure location in the nearest town. No injuries were reported with this incident.
