26 June 2016 at 2047 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from a SPOT device in Lake County, Oregon.  IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported a 32 year old male sustaining a broken collarbone caused by a motorcycle accident. The individual was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his injury.
