12 July 2015 at 2332 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from a DeLorme inReach device in Tusheti Nature Reserve in the country of Georgia.   IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported two individuals that were on a hiking trip when one of the individuals suffered from hypothermia. The individuals were transported by vehicle to a nearby village where they received assistance.
