28 February 2016 at 1755 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from a Garmin inReach device in Reynolds County, Missouri.   IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported an 83 year old male who became unconscious and suffered unknown injuries caused by a motorcycle accident. The individual was transported by helicopter to the nearest hospital where he was treated.
