10 August 2016 at 1831 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from an InReach device in Fremont County, Wyoming.   IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported a 63-year-old male sustaining a neck injury caused by a horseback riding accident. The individual was transported by helicopter to the nearest hospital where he received treatment.
