10 October 2016 at 1535 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from an InReach device in Elmore County, Idaho.   IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported a 66-year-old male suffering severe internal injuries due to a horse rolling on top of him. The individual was transported by a SAR ground team to an ambulance that transported him to a waiting helicopter that transported him to the nearest hospital.
