25 March 2017 at 2040 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from an InReach device in Custer County, Idaho. IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported a 38 and 30-year-old male sustaining minor injuries caused by an aircraft accident. The individuals were transported by snowmobiles to the nearest town where they were interviewed and were not in need of medical attention.
