12 April 2017 at 0931 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from an InReach device in Crook County, Oregon. IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported a male and female whose truck broke down on a secluded highway. A tow truck transported the individuals with their truck and trailer to a safe haven. No injuries to report.
