30 April 2017 at 1839 GMT the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) received a 911/SOS alert from an InReach device in Livingston Park County, Montana. IERCC personnel contacted local emergency services and informed them of the activation. SAR personnel responded to the location and transported an individual sustaining back, neck and rib injuries caused by a snowmobile accident. The individual was transported by helicopter to the nearest hospital where his injuries were treated.
