This very special Member Benefit is available to fund additional Search and Rescue efforts (including private aircraft/helicopter charter, private search teams etc.) that may be deemed necessary by the GEOS IERCC to aid in your rescue or to pay the additional costs of official search and rescue operations authorized by the IERCC. This Member Benefit is especially underwritten for Private Pilots (excluding, however, hang gliders and paragliders). It will provide up to $100,000 per year to fund the cost of such Search and Rescue operations worldwide (please click on Terms and Conditions above for full details of specific territorial limitations and underwriting conditions). GEOS SAR (Private Pilots) members also have access to the GlobalEye travel intelligence service.
This is a prepaid private Search and Rescue membership program. Please note that this is not an insurance plan, travel insurance policy or a healthcare plan and, therefore, GEOS will not reimburse members for expenses they incur on their own.
